Places to be visited

Village Of Ushisar Uçhisar, Cappadocia (buildings in the caves)

The natural rock citadel of Uçhisar is the tallest point in Cappadocia, visible for a great distance from the region's other towns such as Ürgüp and Avanos.

The popular backpacker base of Göreme Town is a short distance downhill from Uçhisar (OOCH-hee-sahr, "tiptop castle").

Uçhisar has numerous hotels, inns, rental houses and pensions, some of them with cave rooms, but the main reason visitors go there is to climb to the top of the tall rock outcrop via tunnels and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view, the best view of Cappadocia except for that which you get from a hot-air balloon.

Another reason to go is to have a fine dinner at an Uçhisar restaurant.

From the summit of the "castle" itself you get the best view of Cappadocia

Göreme : the church

Kaymakli underground city

is on the Ihlara valley roadway and 20 km far from Nevsehir province. Ancient name was Enegup. Kaymakli people built their homes around the underground city tunnels for security reason. Kaymakli underground city has 8 stores and 5000 peoples can live in it, 4 storey is open yet. The deepest point of the visit is around 20 meters. Kaymakli was built in around a main ventilation chimney.

Antakya or also commonly known as Hatay is a city of Turkey located in the eastern Mediterranean region (southeastern Turkey) on the Asi River (Orontes) and the Iskenderun Bay. Antakya was once the capital of the Seleucid kings during Roman times. The city of Antakya takes its name from the father of Seleucus Nicator; Antiochus. Starting in 301 B.C. it was called ''Antioch''. The city was the center of Christianity and had been visited by St. Barnabas, St. Paul and St. Peter. The city was also famous as a center of artistic, scientific and commercial activities. The ancient biblical city of "Antioch ad Orontes" was very important for early Christianity and there are still sacred buildings and churches in the region. The most important of them is St. Peter's Grotto, located just outside the city, in which St. Peter preached, and the early Christians called themselves ''Christian'' for the first time. The Iron Gate of Antioch is to the south of the grotto among the ruins of the city. The Vatican declared Antakya a holy place in 1983. Simeon the Stylite is also associated with Antakya.

Musa tree is in the center of the Hidirbey Village. You can come there by the Samandag way.It is giant pine tree.It is 17 metres high.If the story is true,H.z Musa tree is the biggest tree in the world.

Tips for traveling
  • Is Your Passport Current

- When you first start to plan for your trip, check the expiration date of your passport and, if necessary, send it in for renewal.

  • You will be responsible of any rejection of your passport for any reason  by the border's officers and all related charges (penalties, taxi,....)
  • Just a Little Research Goes a Long Way- Before going abroad, it's worth doing some research on what to do once there. Each city you visit will have a lot of options and there is nothing worse than spending most of your time deciding on how to spend your days. The Internet provides us with so much information, that it would be a crime not to use it.  once there.Be Organized with the Paperwork- Hole-punch all of your information for your trip (and make copies of anything you'll need), organize it by what you'll need chronologically, and place it in a slim, bright, lightweight soft-side plastic binder.Be Prepared for Conversations - Take a dictionary and notes phrase book. It can be useful.Bring Dollar Bills- Bring lots of single dollar bills for tips. Carry Change - Always carry lots of quarters and dimes. A used film canister works very well. You never know when you will need to catch the bus or train or make a pay phone phonecall. Check with your Medical Insurance Carrier Confirm Your Reservation - Be sure your reservation is confirmed, otherwise you may not have a reservation at all.Duplicate Important Documents and Cards
