Description: |
With the Collaboration of the municipality of Roum and Union of Jezzine Mnicipalities Baldati is pleased to invite you to discover a new Lebanese village .
This trail starts with path near Roum central, then continues on unpaved agricultural road, follow the path, southeast crossing the pine and the oak forest then switch to west, continue down towards to the valley this agriculture road end by footpath which leads you to Ain el Zarka water source,
after the stream there is a coal mine, later on the hikers have to cross Ain El Zarka stream where is the Ain El Zarka source in 100 m on the left, the place where you can get your break under the Poplar an Olive trees , enjoying the green field and have a look for the old mill and the old stoned houses.
After that your direction will be to the west, you cross the stream again and follow the trail towards to Roum village, upward to the olive field follow the agriculture road for 800m then take the footpath in your right which leads for an old house on northeast, cross the vineyard field towards to All Daghoun where is the old house that you can have a short break, then go back for 200m an follow the path and continue ascending on the direction to where you started your hike.
At the end of the trip the municiaplity of Roum is inviting us to Lunch (Saj ...)
