We believe that conflicts, around Lebanon, between citizens, families, municipalities and villages are limiting the development of our communities.

And it is not acceptable to witness, between two villages for example, a silly or complicated conflict restricting its citizens from living a decent normal life in their community and stay indifferent towards it, especially when there’s people offering their help and support in resolving such cases.

Baldati is asking you to propose cases and conflicts you witnessed or still are, it can be conflicts between families or groups within a certain village, among two or more villages and issues between a village and municipality in addition to environmental and economic problems and conflicts.

We will work all together, hand in hand, to cover the whole conflict or problem with video shooting which will be posted on Baldati TV. This new feature of Baldati.com will be holding videos of conflicts you will be shooting. How?

You will be taking courses in video shooting and conflict resolution with Baldati team and professionals who will be ready to help you during a workshop Baldati will be preparing for you later after choosing the 3 conflicts from different regions of Lebanon.

“Conflict resolution” may involve, conflict management, in which the parties continue the conflict but adopt less extreme tactics; settlement, in which they reach agreement on enough issues that the conflict stops; or removal of the underlying causes of the conflict. Any of these three aspects of conflict resolution is Baldati’s aim with the Btube project.

Search for old or recent conflicts in your region blocking the normal communication and interaction between the citizens, propose it on www.baldati.com and specifically on http://www.baldati.com/forums/thread.php?tid=175 with the details you have and maybe if possible few pictures. We will choose the 3 “most challenging” cases and support you in resolving them.
