Jezzine is considered to be the first summer resort in south Lebanon; it lies on an altitude around 950 m from above sea level. The closet major city to Jezzine is Saida which is around 22 Km far. Jezzine is known for its magnificent views and landscapes, and especially the water famous waterfalls present there. Jezzine is the center of the Caza where a lot of public offices, banks, hotels, etc… are located. Jezzine has entered the Lebanese history from its wide door since it contained a very important cave in which Emir Fakhereddien the II sought refuge in. the economy in Jezzine mainly depends on tourism, nut selling, fish planting, and knife manufacturing that are very famous all around the world. The beautiful city of Jezzine is surrounded by a lot of evergreen trees as well as vines and orchards.
