Through different times and ages, nations and communities, dialogue has always been the ultimate peaceful conflict resolution approach.
Though, in these times, with the uprising and significant role of civil society organizations and the deficient role and the “backing off” of the states in some major and essential society oriented issues, Do you believe that dialogue sessions as our “national official dialogue” could still manage our differences, or we should start our own “national civil cultural dialogue”?

12 years agoI just joined your initiative after
watching a short program on TV this morning. I want to express my opinion
that any human and in any country can only sustain by believing first on the
foundations of 'A charter of rights and freedom' and the 'obligations of a
citizen to his/her country'. It needs to be embodied thru
dialogue. Interacting and explaining its contents and the reasons for
such 'a charter of rights and freedom and our obligations to our living and
countries, can allow all of us to reflect and accommodate the other. It
should be removed from the constitution and made simple so that everyone starts
to believe and exercise/practice these rights and obligations and stop using
religion as their charter of rights. This initiative should be there for
years! No matter how much it takes, because only then partisan politics
are neutralized and absorbed into what is more impt. Politics will always
be there, but first things first!.
I know such initiatives can cost
money and time, but count me in.
