Institut Européen

de Coopération et

de Développement

IECD:The European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD, Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) is a French non profit organization for international solidarity established in 1988. IECD supports substantial programmes in emergent countries to help their development.

IECD actions aim at the following purposes:

To fulfill its goals, IECD relies on tight, long-lasting links it has developed with partners in the South, mostly organizations and professional groups. IECD intervenes in all steps of the project’s lifecycle: feasibility evaluation, implementation, technical and pedagogical support, quest for financial viability, institutional strengthening of existing structures.

IECD’s main concern is to make sure that the beneficiaries understand they are fully involved in the project. The goal is to work in full agreement with local partners and to have them carry on actions they initiated with IECD’s support.
